When we think of ramen, the familiar packaged dry square or a styrofoam cup from university days come to mind, but how did it get there? Within this editorial, we unravel the social history of ramen from more complicated blocks of instant to gourmet authenticity. While paying homage to traditional woodblock print, the lively and contemporary spirit of ramen is expressed through fun pop color, curvy typography, and whimsical illustrations!
